A. F U T O is a new brand line from A. T E N G U dedicated to the throwing head in blade throwing.

What is A. F U T O?

In blade throwing, the head is the core component that determines everything—
rotation, sticking performance, and impact absorption.

A. F U T O was developed to create a head that competitors can throw with complete confidence.

Every aspect of the design has a purpose, including:

• shape
• weight distribution
• blade angle
• material selection

The name A. F U T O comes from the Japanese word “Futō” (斧頭), meaning the head of an axe.

It was chosen to express the idea of the core of the blade.

Crafted in Japan

A. F U T O products are made in Japan, handcrafted one by one by skilled Japanese craftsmen.

From material selection to forging, polishing, sharpening, and weight adjustment,
every step is carried out in Japan.

Our goal is to embody the repeatability and reliability required in real competition.

To reach a level that mass production cannot achieve,
we rely on Japanese craftsmanship and repeated field testing.

That is the manufacturing philosophy behind A. F U T O.
